Essentially the IHT teaches you to create the state of Happiness at the start of each day and then using various strategies to keep the state going for as many of your 1440 minutes as possible. At the end of the day you do a quick one-page journal entry about your Happiness and then always go to sleep positive and optimistic about tomorrow. Think about it, we are all given 1440 minutes within each new day that we can either be Happy or unHappy. One way to become a Happier person is to begin the process of adding more Happy minutes in each of those days.
